堪城簡介
堪薩斯市是全美排名第一的農產品產銷中心及小麥市場，堪薩斯市位在全美國的地理心臟，橫跨密蘇里和堪薩斯兩州。兩州在堪市之交界處以州線路（State Line Road）分隔，大部份之堪市位在密州境內。堪城建立於1850年，有許多的林陰大道、公園及噴泉而有「噴泉之城」的美譽。大堪城地區由密蘇里州及堪薩斯州兩州一百三十六個城市組成，其中四個最大的城市為密州的Kansas City, Independence及堪薩斯的Kansas City和Overland Park。二零零六年估計大都會區約有兩百萬人。堪城並以牛排及烤肉聞名。
